With summer coming to a sweltering end (we’re not sure about your neck of the woods, but ours is hot!), and fall around the corner, we figured now would be as good a time as any to pull back the curtain and give you all a sneak peek at some future AWP releases!
Actual release dates are still up in the air, but we expect both of the following titles to launch next year. So stay tuned!
First up, we have the newest entry in Ben Van Dongen‘s amazing science fiction novella series, Snow from a Distant Sky!
Thomas didn’t intend to travel to another world and he’s certainly not dressed for it. Finding himself in a frozen clearing surrounded by the aftermath of a bloody battle, he takes the robe off of one of the bodies and is introduced to the shadow that inhabits it. With no way home, Thomas wanders the icy wasteland. On his journey, he meets survivors, some obligated to help and others who think that the young man can help them.
The fifth book of the Synthetic Albatross series, Snow From a Distant Sky bridges the worlds of the other books, complicating the lives of each protagonist.

The Synthetic Albatross series.
One of our favourite authors is Brittni Brinn. Her post-apocalyptic series, The Patch Project and its sequel, A Place that Used to Be, are must read books. And it is with great joy that we can say Brittni is hard at work on the third book in the series, a novel that will finally answer all the questions she has weaved throughout the first two volumes.
It is too early to reveal the plot of this book, but know that it is going to be epic!
If you haven’t read Brittni’s work yet, you need to remedy that immediately. You are missing out.
That’s it for now, we hope you enjoyed this little tease of two of our future releases. Check back for more info regarding both titles as well as news and updates on other projects and events.
Take care and keep reading!
So exciting to hear that we finally get to see what that mysterious snow guy is about, Ben! Looking forward to reading the next Synthetic Albatross book 🙂
I’m glad you’re excited. I wanted to build up the suspense, but now I’m nervous about the payoff.
And I could say the same thing about your series! What’s happening under the water?
